About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Autogate Controller to join our operations team. Acting as the first point of contact for hauliers, you will play a key role in managing the safe and efficient flow of HGV traffic in and out of the terminal using a state-of-the-art automated gate system.

This is a fast-paced, safety-critical position suited to individuals who can remain calm under pressure and communicate effectively in a dynamic environment.

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organised Port Administration Assistant to support daily operations at the port. The primary responsibility will be managing the check-in and check-out process for drivers, ensuring accurate records and smooth coordination of vehicle movements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Checking drivers in and out of the port.
  • Recording and maintaining accurate entry and exit information.
  • Verifying driver and vehicle details where required.
  • Communicating clearly with drivers and relevant operational teams.
  • Ensuring all administrative processes are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Supporting general administrative tasks related to port operations when required.

Requirements

  • Previous administration or logistics experience is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills when dealing with drivers and operational staff.
  • Ability to work independently and reliably.
