We are currently recruiting for an experienced Area Store Manager on behalf of our well established client.

Location: Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Humberside & Midlands

Salary: £30,000 + Company Car

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Performance & Sales: Motivate and coach a team of Store Managers, setting clear goals and sales strategies to drive performance across all stores.
  • Target Achievement: Set ambitious sales targets and work closely with your team to achieve and exceed them.
  • Collaborate and align: Work with the Regional Manager to ensure your area's sales strategies align with the broader business objectives.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with your Store Managers, providing constructive feedback, coaching and guidance.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Spot opportunities to grow sales or improve performance, developing plans to seize them.
  • Maintain Standards: Ensure all stores meet consistent visual merchandising, cleanliness, and operational standards across the area.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Market Awareness: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to identify areas for improvement or innovation.
  • Compliance & Stock Control: Ensure all stores adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards - including effective stock management and inventory controls.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience in a multi-site retail management role (minimum 3 years).
  • Strong track record of driving sales, motivating teams, and delivering results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial awareness and the ability to problem-solve on the go.
  • Passion for retail operations and delivering best-in-class customer service.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between stores as needed
