Assembly Operative

Are you looking for a full-time Assembly Operative role with immediate starts, career progression, and a supportive working environment? Join a thriving manufacturing and production company based just outside Scarborough, North Yorkshire. We are searching for motivated individuals to join our client's team and support their growing assembly line operations.

As an Assembly Operative, you will help build high-quality products, working with technical drawings and production equipment to ensure every item meets strict safety and quality standards. No experience is required , full training is provided and you will be supported from day one. Rotating shifts Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm.

Assembly Operative Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately place component parts onto printed circuit boards (PCB assembly)
  • Test and inspect completed circuit boards (quality control, inspection)
  • Assist with production finishing tasks, including case assembly
  • Follow detailed work instructions and manufacturing procedures
  • Maintain excellent health & safety standards on the production floor
  • Provide feedback and report issues to support continuous improvement

What We are Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
  • Ability to follow diagrams, technical instructions, and assembly processes
  • Reliable, hardworking, and team-focused
  • Experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, or factory work is beneficial but not essential
