Position: Bill of Materials Engineer

Location: Abercynon

Salary: £25,000-£35,000 DOE

Shift Pattern: Days regular, Monday to Friday

About this Vacancy:

The Bill of Materials Engineer role is an integral part of the engineering team responsible for creating and maintaining the bills of materials for both the connector and interconnect parts of the business

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for creating parts and managing the bill of materials in the system.

Review the Engineering change notes and update BOM's as necessary.

Become proficient in setting up new options and/ or create rules to support various build configurations.

Ability to read, understand and communicate Engineering drawings and production documentation.

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure content of BOM/ timing is always up to date.

Role Requirements

Has experience in developing and creating Bills of Materials

Technical knowledge of product structure and processes, understanding of BOM, ability to read technical drawings with high complexity.

Strong stakeholder relationship management skills

Strong work ethic and a commitment to engineering excellence and data driven decision making.

Works well on projects on their own as well as within a team

Ability to communicate ideas.
