Continental Shift Pattern (12-hour shifts: 2 Days, 2 Nights)


Are you an experienced Blowing Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Blow Moulding Engineer to join an established manufacturing company in Tenbury Wells.

The Role


Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and optimising blow moulding machinery while supporting production targets, quality standards, and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain blow moulding machines.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Set up and operate downstream equipment including airveyors, laners, and robots.
  • Complete Asset Care and Condition Monitoring tasks.
  • Ensure GMP and Health & Safety standards are maintained.
  • Train and develop colleagues in processing, fault finding, and repair techniques.
  • Mentor apprentices and support team development.
  • Provide cover and support across the wider production team when required.

About You

  • Experience working with Krones and Sidel blow moulding machines.
  • Strong mechanical engineering background, ideally with a recognised apprenticeship (C&G , SVQ or equivalent)
  • Experience implementing processing changes to improve product quality and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of mould/tooling changes and line change procedures.
  • Electrical fault-finding experience, including:
    • PLC programming and diagnostics
    • Control panel wiring
    • Component-level fault finding
  • Ability to overhaul machine components, including low and high-pressure valves.
  • Proficient with engineering tools and manufacturing systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literate with good communication skills.
