Role Evolution

  • Immediate Focus: Expand the customer base for an established portfolio of molecular biology reagents, culture media, enzymes, and ultrapure laboratory water.

  • Future Scope: Support commercial growth across the oncology discovery platform, introducing specialist compounds, analogue libraries, formulation technologies, and collaborative research partnerships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and develop opportunities across academia, biotechnology, NHS laboratories, and pharmaceutical sectors.

  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with lab managers, researchers, procurement teams, and industry decision-makers.

  • Pipeline Management: Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from initial introduction through to contract completion.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify global distributor and collaborative partnership opportunities.

  • Market Presence: Attend conferences and industry events to support product launches and gather market insights.


The Product Portfolio

  • Oncology Research Molecules: Scalable research-stage oncology compounds, including DMU-212 (an experimental small-molecule resveratrol analogue) and emerging analogue libraries.

  • Molecular Biology Reagents: Essential scientific consumables including enzymes, PCR/qPCR products, polymerases, cloning products, and culture media.

  • High-Purity Water: Ultrapure laboratory water and Water for Injection (WFI) for regulated pharmaceutical applications.


What We Are Looking For

Ideal Experience & Skills:

  • Education: A degree in a Life Science discipline (e.g., Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field).

  • Professional Background: Experience in scientific sales, laboratory consumables, research reagents, diagnostics, or life science commercial roles.

  • Industry Network: Already have exposure to NHS laboratories, universities, research institutes, or biotech companies are highly advantageous.

  • Approach: A self-motivated, proactive professional who enjoys opening doors and communicating confidently with technical end-users.
