Cable Assembler

Job description

Working in partnership with a fantastic employer manufacturing high performance electrical cable assemblies and control panels for defense, aerospace and commercial applications in Brough. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers temporary to permanent work after 12 weeks, great pay (£11.56hr).

Please note due to the location you will need your own transport.

Shift Times/Working hours:

Monday- Friday 8am-4.30pm

Responsibilities of role:

  • To be able to read assembly drawings
  • Plan and execute assembly, electrical or testing tasks
  • To produce quality electrical, fibre and hybrid cable assemblies and testing in accordance with specified requirements.
  • To test cable assemblies to ensure that the customer's specifications are required under supervision.

The successful candidate:

  • Able to work to drawings and specific requirements.
  • Committed, team player with a keen eye for quality.
  • Reliable with good timekeeping.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.56 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
