We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team in Hartlepool. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing both 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for port infrastructure and land development projects. This includes the design of quays, berths, storage facilities, access roads, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Time Effectively: Efficiently manage your time to meet deadlines for individual and project-specific drawing packages.
  • Design Development:
    • Create detailed layouts for offshore wind staging areas, assembly zones, and vessel berthing configurations.
    • Update existing designs to reflect any infrastructure upgrades or changes.
  • Collaborative Work:
    • Work closely with engineers and other professionals to develop and refine project designs.
    • Use survey data and geotechnical reports to create accurate and precise designs.
  • Design Review Support:
    • Participate in design reviews by presenting drawings and incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
    • Identify and resolve design challenges, including site constraints and environmental impacts.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and specifications.
  • File Management:
    • Organize and manage design files for easy retrieval and future reference.
    • Maintain detailed records of designs, revisions, and project specifications.
  • Construction Documentation:
    • Prepare comprehensive documentation for construction teams, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
