Drivers Required - North Shields Compound & Port 🚗

We are currently recruiting Drivers to join our team at North Shields Compound and Port. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for flexible work within a busy automotive and logistics environment.

Main Duties

• Discharging cars from vessels.
• Driving client vehicles around the compound and port site.
• Transporting vehicles between designated locations.
• Preparing vehicles for dispatch.
• Following all site procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Working safely and professionally at all times.

Pay Rate Breakdown
Compound

• Monday to Friday: £12.71 per hour

Port

• Days (Monday to Friday): £12.89 per hour
• Nights (Monday to Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:00am): £12.64 per hour
• Weekends (Friday 10:00pm - Monday 6:00am): £14.97 per hour

Hours of Work

Compound

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am - 4:30pm
• 30-minute unpaid break
• 8 hours paid per shift

Port

• Various shifts available depending on vessel schedules and operational requirements.
• Shifts allocated daily or weekly.

Candidate Requirements
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
✅ Up to 6 penalty points accepted

✅ Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
✅ Flexible approach to working hours
✅ Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
