Location: Rotherham

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7am - 3pm
  • Friday: 6am - 2pm

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworker, working with Pre-Cast Shapes to join one of our clients in Rotherham. This is a physically demanding role where you will be involved in the construction of small concrete shapes, long cylinders, and lances. The role requires manual handling and is ideal for someone with previous experience in a similar setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating overhead cranes, forklift trucks (FLT), and other machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Construction of pre-cast shapes, including small concrete components, long cylinders, and lances.
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed to high safety and quality standards.
  • Handling materials and assisting with manual lifting tasks.
  • Working as part of a team to meet production targets.

Key Requirements:

  • Lift & slinging experience
  • Overhead crane & FLT truck license
  • Manual handling training is desired but not essential.
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual, repetitive tasks.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to strict deadlines.
