FULL TIME PERMANENT CLASS 1 NIGHT TRUNKER DRIVER - PENRITH

We are currently seeking a full time class 1 trunker driver in Penrith. This is a permanent position with the opportunity for future progression.

Our client are the leading courier service professionals within Penrith, with over 25 years experience in the industry.

This position requires drivers to be available for interview from 6th Jan 2025

Salary - £35,000pa

Job role

• Trunking to Litchfield and back Monday - Friday
• Starting between 4pm - 5pm
• Finish times - 6am - 7am
• Curtain sider vehicle
• Pump truck - for loading and unloading of the vehicle
• Handling paperwork etc: delivery sheets, product info, receipts etc
• Assisting in general warehouse housekeeping when needed
• Working to tight time frames and delivering goods at or as close to the given time as possible

Job specifications:

• Must hold a valid CE driving licence with at least 12 months of experience
• Must hold a valid CPC
• Must hold a valid DIGI Card
• Must be over 23 due to insurance purposes
• Have own transportation due to the location
• Available to work weekends as and when needed
• Able to use a pump truck, tail lift and have the ability to carry a weight if up to 20kg
• Can work to strict time frames and use own initiative to get the work done
• Able to use and follow a sat nav
