We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 (Category C) Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team in Carlisle. This is a permanent position offering immediate start for the right candidate.

About the Role

As a Class 2 Delivery Driver, you will work as part of a two-person team delivering high‑quality furniture to customers' homes across the region. This is a physical, customer‑facing role requiring excellent communication skills, safe driving, and careful handling of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver furniture safely and efficiently to residential addresses
  • Complete multi‑drop delivery routes across the region
  • Handle, load, and unload furniture with care (manual handling required)
  • Provide excellent customer service during all deliveries
  • Complete all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous experience in furniture delivery or heavy manual handling (preferred but not essential)
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and physically fit
  • Flexibility with start times if required
