We are currently recruiting for a Cleaner | Hygiene Operative to work on a full time and temporary basis for our client based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
Role: Cleaner | Hygiene Operator
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8am to 5pm
Location: Ashbourne
Rate of pay: £12.72 PH
Overtime paid at: x1.5 outside of contractual hours
This is a temporary assignment but has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. Due to the location of the role having access to a car would be beneficial.
About the role:
· Bring to the attention of the Team Leader, Mill Manager or Maintenance department any aspect of the Mill operation that appears to be malfunctioning or causing hygiene problems
· Seek to improve & enhance the hygiene status of the mill by suggesting & implementing improvement projects.
· Draw up cleaning programmes for other staff that integrate with those that you follow
· To stand in for occasional duties in Production or as otherwise directed.
· Liaise with the company Laboratory in the monitoring of the microbiological status of the Mill.
· Yard Duties - Ensure the yard is kept clean and free from spillages.
· Potential cleaning of offices.

· A keen interest in agriculture where animal welfare is of the upmost importance
· Desire to work 'hands on' in an agricultural environment
· To be reliable and flexible
