Monday to Thursday 7am until 4.30pm & Friday 7am until 12 noon

Temp to Perm

Our long established Engineering client based in Daventry, are looking to recruit a temp to perm CNC Machine Operative - Milling.

CNC Machine Operative - Milling role:

To manufacture automotive components, following specific guidelines given by the section Supervisor, whilst adhering to all health and safety legislation, company policies and procedures. You will be responsible for the quality of work undertaken and for reporting non-conformities as and when they occur.

CNC Machine Operative - Milling responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC lathes and/or VMC milling centre to perform precision machining operations.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Run the machines in line with the speeds and feeds called up by the programs and monitor performance.
  • Carry out in-cycle inspection of the parts produced, using micrometres, verniers and coordinate measuring machine reports.

CNC Machine Operative - Milling requirements:

  • Engineering / automotive experience preferred
  • Background working in an environment where attention to detail is important
  • Prior experience using Engineering measuring equipment
  • FANUC and Heidenhain controls experience desirable
  • Must have an eye for detail and high levels of concentration
  • Good communication skills to promote good team working within the Machine Shop
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach and willingness to work within various areas of the shopfloor.
