Monday to Thursday 7am until 4 pm & Friday 7am until 12 noon

Temp to Perm Opportunity

Our long standing Engineering client based in Daventry, Northamptonshire are looking to recruit a temp to perm 'CNC Machine Operator / Setter'.

The role:

To manufacture automotive components whilst adhering to all Health & Safety legislation, company policies and procedures.

CNC Machine Operator / Setter responsibilities:

  • To set and operate CNC machines
  • Own the configuration of all supporting process elements including tooling, gauges, test equipment, work holding and CNC programmes
  • Enhance efficiency by suggesting improvements to speed and feed
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
  • Carry out in-cycle inspection of the parts produced, using micrometres, verniers and coordinate measuring machine reports

CNC Machine Operator / Setter requirements:

  • CNC Milling / Turning experience
  • Highly capable in machine tool and cutting tool specification and application
  • Understanding of and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of precision engineering processes including general machining (Milling and Turning)
  • Prior experience using measuring equipment
  • Proficient using FANUC and Heidenhain controls
