Machine Operator - Setter

Location: Keighley

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (4-day week)

Shifts & Allowances:

  • 1:45am - 11:00am
  • 5:15am - 14:30pm
  • 9:00am - 18:15pm

Pay: £14.85 - £16.20 per hour (including shift allowance)

The Role

As a Machine Operator - Setter, you will be responsible for setting and operating machinery to produce products in line with customer specifications, quality standards, and agreed timescales. While personal needs will be accommodated wherever possible, flexibility is required to work across all listed shift patterns, Monday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate machinery using the correct tooling
  • Produce goods in line with works orders and quality standards
  • Read and interpret production drawings
  • Select the correct wire as specified in drawings and works orders
  • Carry out inspections and accurate product weighing
  • Control and maintain specific tooling
  • Liaise with Technical and Quality departments when required
  • Support wider company objectives as needed

Skills & Experience

  • Previous machine operating experience within manufacturing
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Flexible and reliable with shift patterns
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
