CNC Lathe Turners - Join Our Team!

We are seeking skilled CNC Lathe Turners to join our growing team. While time-served candidates are preferred, this is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for individuals with experience operating long-bed lathes, machining standard bored/profiled tubes and offsets using:

🔹 CNC lathes with Fanuc Series OI-TD controls
🔹 Manual lathes
🔹 Turning component lengths up to 10 metres in stainless, super, and carbon alloys

Your role will involve:

✔ Programming Fanuc Series OI-TD controlled lathes (preferred but not essential)
✔ Recording precise measurements before and after machining
✔ Conducting visual inspections to ensure quality compliance
✔ Operating overhead cranes safely and efficiently
✔ Identifying and addressing quality issues
✔ Applying modern manufacturing techniques such as TPM and 5S
✔ Maintaining a safe work environment in line with company safety standards

Skills & Experience Required

✅ 2-3 years of turning experience in a manufacturing environment
✅ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to create precise components
✅ Experience with Fanuc Series OI-TD programming (advantageous but not essential)
✅ Proficiency in measuring tools: Micrometers, Calipers, Bore Comparators, Wall & Surf Gauges
✅ Strong attention to detail, capable of working to tight tolerances
✅ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
✅ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
✅ Willingness to work overtime and rotating shifts (2-week days/nights)
✅ Understanding of health & safety, environmental regulations, and quality standards
✅ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
