CNC Operator
Stafforce North Yorkshire Hub is recruiting on behalf of our client in the Pickering area. We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator / CNC Machinist to join their precision engineering team. In this role, you will operate a range of high-speed CNC machines to produce top-quality components, ensuring maximum efficiency and spindle time
What is on Offer
Ø Training Period: Day shift (Mon-Thu, 7:00 am-5:30 pm) for approx. 6 months at £17.30/hr
Ø Permanent Night Shift: Mon-Thu, 8:30 pm-7:00 am at £17.92/hr + £40 night shift allowance per shift.
Hours: Full-time, permanent nights

CNC Operator Key Responsibilities
· Set and operate high-speed CNC machines for milling, drilling, tapping, and grinding.
· Operate and supervise other machine shop equipment.
· Prepare tooling, fixtures, and CNC programs before production.
· Maintain accurate production records and ensure component quality.
· Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
· Perform basic program edits and manage tool tables.
· Control and replace tooling and cutters; load raw materials.
· Monitor lubricant levels and machine performance.
· Work with CNC 3-axis, 4-axis machining and Renishaw probing.
· Follow all company safety systems and protocols.
What we are looking For
· Previous experience as a CNC Operator / CNC Setter.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
· Ability to work to deadlines and maintain high standards.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
