Are you an experienced Machinist or CNC Operator looking for a new challenge?
We're supporting a well-established engineering manufacturer in Sheffield that produces precision components for the Aerospace and Power Generation industries. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add skilled Machinists to their team.
You'll be responsible for machining and setting large, high-quality castings to engineering drawings and specified tolerances. Experience with Vertical Borers or large component machining would be an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right person.
Key responsibilities:
Setting and operating manual and/or CNC machines
Machining centrifugally cast components to specification and tolerance
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Carrying out dimensional inspection of finished parts
Maintaining safe working practices and contributing to team performance
Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
Experience with manual or CNC lathes, mills, or borers
Ability to read and understand detailed engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Team player with a proactive and flexible approach
Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required
Competitive hourly rate + regular overtime
