Darlington Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to operate Doosan Puma turning mcahines within a precision engineering environment. You will be responsible for producing high‑quality components to tight tolerances and ensuring smooth, efficient machine operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Set, operate, and adjust Doosan Puma CNC turning machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Produce precision components to tight tolerances
• Perform tool changes and basic machine maintenance
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, verniers, gauges
• Work independently and manage workload effectively
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner
• Confident operating Doosan Puma machines
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Able to work a 39‑hour week, Monday to Friday
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
