£14.20 per hour

Monday to Friday 6.00am until 2pm, flexible start & finish

Immediate start available - 1x week Holiday Cover

We are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Operative for a well-established company in March, Cambridgeshire. This is a 1x week Holiday Cover to support a team that specialises in the manufacture, restoration, and repair of wooden pallets.

Counterbalance Forklift Operative responsibilities:

  • Counterbalance FLT driving
  • Assisting in building and restoring wooden pallets using nail guns and power tools
  • Operating machinery for pallet processing
  • Inspecting pallets for damage and carrying out repairs
  • Tipping & unloading lorries
  • Sorting & stacking pallets
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

Counterbalance Forklift Operative Requirements:

  • Previous Counterbalance FLT experience - valid accredited Counterbalance FLT licence is ESSENTIAL!
  • Experience with hand tools, nail guns, or machinery is desirable
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced, manual environment
  • A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and follow health & safety procedures
