Customer Service Manager

Our Client based in Shipley BD17 is looking for an experience Customer Service manager to lead and inspire customer service team . This role is perfect for a proactive individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and has a proven ability to manage and develop teams effectively.

Salary £30.000-£35.000 based on experience

Working Hours : 39 hrs per week

Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5.00pm

Friday 8.30am -4.00pm

1 x Saturday every 3 weeks 9-1pm

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing customer care team, nurturing a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Provide strategic oversight in performance management, including coaching, career development, and succession planning to ensure long-term talent retention and growth within the team.
  • Cultivate leadership within the team by setting high standards and creating pathways for professional development.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Establish and advocate a customer-centre ethos across the organisation, emphasising empathy, professionalism, and consistency in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Ideal candidate:

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive high performance.
  • Experience managing key accounts and delivering exceptional customer service to high-value clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to coach, train, and motivate team members effectively.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
