We are currently recruiting for a Data Entry Clerk on behalf of our client in North Hykeham, Lincoln. This is initially a 6 month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent.

Working Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm

You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within the company's databases. This role requires high attention to detail, efficient time management, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and update data into company systems and databases.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies at all times.
  • Ensure timely completion of data entry tasks to support business operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary information for data updates.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to data management as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a data entry role or similar position.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in using data entry software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, databases).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations is a plus.
