Delivery Driver / Engineering General Operative

£13.50 per hour

Daventry, Northamptonshire

Monday to Thursday 7am until 4.30pm & Friday 7am until 12 noon

Temporary ongoing

Our long established Daventry, Engineering client are currently recruiting for an ongoing, temporary Delivery Driver / Engineering General Operative.

Delivery Driver / Engineering General Operative responsibilities:

• Driving the company van, making deliveries across Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire
• Loading and unloading
• Operating machinery within the Engineering workshop
• Inspection and quality checking of the finished product, to ensure it meets with customer specifications
• Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.

Delivery Driver / Engineering General Operative requirements:

• UK Drivers Licence - with a maximum of 3 points due to insurance requirements
• Previous experience working within an Engineering / automotive environment desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong customer service skills - when representing our client on their clients sites
• Reliable and trustworthy
