Dispatch Operative with Forklift License

We are recruiting an experienced Dispatch Operative with Forklift License to a join a high-quality steel door manufacturer on the outskirts of East Hull (HU12). This is a Permanent contract, offering a payrate of £13 per hour.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID COUNTERBALANCE FORKLIFT LICENSE!

Shift pattern / Working hours

Full time

Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm & Friday 8am-3:30pm

Start date / Duration

The Dispatch Operative role is a Permanent contract that will commence with immediate effect. If you do have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around that.

Job description

As a Dispatch Operative you will be responsible for packing and preparing all doors for dispatch. Your duties will include;

  • Picking and packing steel security doors from dispatch paperwork
  • Working as a team with existing staff to work efficiently
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Driving a counterbalance forklift when required
  • Large elements of manual handling and lifting

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Dispatch Operative you must;

  • Forklift Licence is required (counterbalance as a minimum)
  • Confident in the safe use of manual handling techniques
  • Able to work as a team
  • Uses initiative to work efficiently
