Stafforce Carlisle are currently assisting a long-standing client in their search for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis at their factory just outside of Carlisle. The business is a market-leader in it's field, and as such is searching for an individual with experience in a similar environment, allowing them to hit the ground running from day one. Please note that due to the rural location of this site, successful candidates will have their own means of transport to allow them to get to work across the various shift times.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance of busy manufacturing processes, including general maintenance and asset care programmes. You'll work proactively, as well as part of a skilled team whilst consistently ensuring good housekeeping and good manufacturing practice in accordance with site policy. All work must be carried out using Safe Systems of Work and in line with the business' 'Zero Harm' policy.

You will require the following:

- Qualified to (BS 7671) IEE 18th Edition

- Experience of a similar maintenance role working in manufacturing and industrial processes

- COMPEX qualified (Desirable but not essential)

- The job holder must be able to demonstrate a good level of IT Skills Oral, Written and Numeracy skills

- A good understanding of workplace safety systems, safety disciplines and safety controls

- Excellent demonstrable working knowledge of preventative safety measures, including SSOW/Lock Out Tag Out, in addition to a good understanding of Health, Safety & Environment best practice and policies

- Core electrical competences with complex Electrical Control Systems including PLC Automation Controls, Servo & Variable Speed drives.

- Have a good understanding of Electrical installation & testing.

- Demonstrate a good level of Electrical trouble shooting, fault finding and corrective diagnosis.

- Have a good underpinning knowledge of machinery processes including modern process drives and process technology.

- A good level of experience trouble shooting, fault finding and undertaking corrective diagnosis
