Job Details

Stafforce are currently on the lookout for an Estimator to join a growing team in Barnsley, within this role you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-end commercial projects with values up to £50M.

What to Expect:

• Creating tenders for commercial projects - ranging from £100K - £50M
• Estimating for all aspects of projects, ranging from structural steel to precast concrete staircases
• Primarily office-based with occasional site and customer visits
• Manage a busy, varied workload and meet tight deadlines
• Work closely with the Estimating and Design teams to achieve shared objectives.
• Work from detailed drawings and specifications

What We Need from You:

• Preferably an HND or equivalent in a technical or engineering discipline, or 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in the construction industry, structural steel or fabrication experience is an advantage
• Confident in client meetings and understanding of building solutions
• Ability to read and interpret engineer's and architect's drawings
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and Word
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to work independently
