We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator to join our clients team in Chesterfield.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in heavy engineering and welding, looking to bring their expertise to a well-established company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricating and assembling components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Carrying out welding duties to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Interpreting and working from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control and ensuring all work meets the required specifications.
  • Working within a team to complete large and complex fabrication projects.
  • Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Fabricator in a heavy engineering environment.
  • Proficient in welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick welding) to a high standard.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Health and safety conscious with a commitment to safe working practices.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, and other metals.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in welding or fabrication.
