About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our client's dynamic team in Warrington. This role is perfect for an ambitious, driven professional who excels at building relationships, expanding client networks, and driving business growth. The successful candidate will spend a significant amount of time on the road-visiting new and existing clients, attending industry events, and networking represent the company and forge meaningful connections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, key stakeholders, and decision-makers.
    • Regularly visit client sites to understand their needs and demonstrate product knowledge.
  • Sales and Negotiation:
    • Utilise proven B2B/B2C sales experience to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Market Development:
    • Identify new market opportunities and tailor product promotion strategies accordingly.
    • Attend industry events and networking functions to represent the company and build professional connections.
  • Collaboration & Strategy:
    • Work independently while collaborating with the wider team to create targeted campaigns aligned with business objectives.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, both in person and via digital platforms.
  • Administrative Excellence:
    • Manage time effectively and keep detailed records of interactions and sales activities.
    • Utilise Microsoft applications proficiently for reporting, presentations, and communications.

Essential Requirements

  • Sales Experience:
    • Demonstrable B2B/B2C sales experience with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Communication & Presentation:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Organisational Skills:
    • Outstanding time management and organisational abilities, ensuring efficient management of travel and client appointments.
  • Analytical Abilities:
    • Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities and understand client needs.
  • Proactive & Independent:
    • A self-starter with a proactive approach to work, driven by a strong desire to achieve results and exceed targets.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Competence in using Microsoft Office applications and other relevant tools for reporting and presentations.
