Stafforce are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing team in Leeds, within this role you will be repairing a range of heavy plant machinery. This is a Field Service role, so you will be expected to go to client's sites to complete PPMs and reactive maintenance.

What to Expect:

  • Diagnose, repair, and test equipment
  • Document work performed and report any unresolved issues
  • Flexibility with working hours, including occasional work outside standard hours, paid at 1.5x
  • Receive instructions electronically (written and verbal) via a handheld PDA during breakdowns
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure safe working practices
  • Communicate with Supervisor/Manager regarding additional work and obtain authorisation before proceeding

What We Need:

  • Experience in servicing plant and equipment within industrial and/or construction settings
  • Valid clean driving license
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, engines, electrics, and fault diagnosis
  • Experience with main dealers is highly advantageous
  • Ability to maintain high standards of quality and discipline
  • Effective communication skills to address vehicle concerns directly with customers when necessary
