Our well-established client based in Lincoln, are looking for an experienced Flavourist to join their team on a permanent basis. They are a family run business and one of the UK's biggest manufacturers and distributors of E-Liquids. This is an exciting opportunity as they are expanding quickly and have lots of growth plans.


Working: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Salary: Dependant on experience

Job Responsibilities

  • Create new and innovative flavour profiles.
  • Responsible to set up a flavour lab.
  • Formulate flavours and project management from procurement till launching.
  • Quality control.
  • Scale up lab scale flavours for manufacturing.
  • Set up a manufacturing facility to manufacture flavours in bulk.
  • Responsible for the health and safety of the manufacturing unit
  • Research and Development of new concentrates and e-liquid flavours,
  • Ability to formulate flavours that meet all regulatory guidelines and restrictions.
  • Be a team player, able to work individually, also as part of the wider team.
  • Acquire a good understanding of the markets in which our client operates and be able to interact at a high level of professionalism with customers.

Skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of active flavour work
  • Degree in Chemistry or Food Science.
  • Strong trouble-shooting skills
  • Experience working in a Flavourist/Flavour Chemist position is essential.
  • Specialized knowledge in flavours for e-liquids is preferred.
  • Knowledge of fundamental flavour chemistry and sensory perception, to aid with new product developments or product improvements.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to change.
