Working in partnership with TAYTO/Golden Wonder in Scunthorpe we are recruiting reliable, hardworking Flavourist to work full time Monday to Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an Employer of Choice that offers career progression, factory operative training opportunities and great pay.

Flavourist Operative shift patterns available:
Monday to Friday 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm rotation

Main Purpose of Role:
To operate the flavour applicators safely, maintaining efficiencies, quality assurance, and quality testing and data analysis.

Principal Activities
Operate the flavour applicators to give coverage within specification
Ensure correct flavours are used, check batch codes
Carry out Q.A checks
Complete all necessary documentation
Carry out flavour changes, efficiently, when required to minimise downtime
Clean applicators correctly to ensure no cross contamination of flavours
When filling applicators ensure no foreign objects enter the product stream
During end of production clean down strip down applicator, clean to the required standard and rebuild correctly
Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure work area is clean and tidy at all times
Monitor applicators and report any faults to the appropriate person

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
Must have good knowledge on packing/process equipment
Desirable
To work on own initiative and as part of a team

Other Key Facts
Work within Company and Legislative Health and Safety requirements
Maintain personal and factory hygiene standards
Assist with any training/retraining as requested
Take part in any on going training
Carry out any reasonable task as requested
Be flexible in areas

Experience, Skills & Behaviours:
Must have good knowledge or be willing to learn about packaging, performance and capability
To work on own initiative and as part of a team
Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene standards throughout area of responsibility
Numerate and literate
