FOOD PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Working in partnership with established food manufacturing businesses in the Elsham area, we are recruiting reliable and hardworking Food Production Operatives. These roles offer excellent opportunities for individuals looking to build a long-term career within a growing production environment with pay rates from £13.04ph to £14.50ph.

Shift Pattern / Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday Day shifts
  • 6am-2pm OR 9am-5pm (these are set shifts and do not rotate)

Whilst these are primarily Monday to Friday positions, candidates must be willing to work occasional weekends during busy periods, including seasonal peaks and the Christmas period. Weekend working is rotated across the team and is not required every weekend.

Start Date / Duration

The Food Production Operative roles are a Temp to Perm positions with immediate starts available. However, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.

Job Description

As a Food Production Operative, you will play an important role within the production team, supporting the manufacture and preparation of high-quality products.

Day-to-day duties will include:

  • Collecting raw ingredients
  • Weighing and preparing recipes
  • Blending and mixing products
  • Packing finished goods
  • Palletising completed products
  • Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards

The Successful Candidate

To be considered for the position of Food Production Operative, we are looking for candidates who have:

  • Previous manufacturing, production, machine operating or food production experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Commitment to health and safety procedures
  • Ability to work towards production targets
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg due to some roles involving lifting ingredient sacks and boxes
  • Own transport is essential due to location
