FOOD PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Working in partnership with a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality meat products, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Food Production Operative to work in the Driffield area. This is an ongoing position that could go perm after 12 weeks with a pay rate of (£11.44/hr)

Shift pattern / Working hours

Shift A: Monday to Wednesday 6am-6pm / Saturday's alternate 6am-4pm

Shift B: Wednesday to Friday 6am-6pm / Saturday's alternate 6am-4pm

The Food Production Operative role is an ongoing role that may lead to a permanent job. This will commence with immediate effect.

Job description

As a Food Production Operative you will be responsible for the production and packing of various meat products. Day to day you will be expected to;

· Work in a chilled packing environment

· Break down meat products and feed them through various types of machines for shredding, packing and cooking

· Portion meat onto trays and load onto racks

· Work with raw foods

. Carry out some heavy lifting

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Food Production Operative you must;

  • Have Food Production experience
  • Have own transport, due to location
  • Be comfortable working in a chilled environment
