FOOD PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

We are recruiting an experienced Food Production Supervisor to join a highly prestigious food manufacturer in Hull (HU3). This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an Employer of Choice that offers career progression, training opportunities and great pay (£13.64/hr).

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Friday - 3 shift rotation

6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am

Start date / Duration

The position of Food Production Supervisor will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around this. This is ongoing, long-term work and will lead to a permanent position.

Job description

As a Food Production Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising a fast paced food production operation of dry baked goods Your duties will include;

· Supervising a team of up to 30 staff working across multiple production lines

· Perform independent process control checks

  • Check and collate all production paperwork relating to intake, manufacture, curing, processing, cooking, cooling, storage, slicing, packing and despatch
  • Ensure products are sent for correct testing in line with customer protocol
  • Report and investigate any products that do not meet customer expectations
  • Check and collate technical audit paperwork

· General production line work including packing and loading produce.

To be considered for the position of Food Production Supervisor you must;

· Have previous experience working in a similar level role within the food industry
