Job Role

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Port Operative to work across busy port environments handling brick vessels, cement vessels, and general cargo. This role involves a mix of manual labour, heavy lifting, and forklift operations, supporting the safe and efficient unloading, loading, and movement of materials across multiple port sites.

What do you need to be a successful Port Operative

  • Previous experience in port operations, warehousing, construction, or logistics preferred.
  • Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance or Telehandler) is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy manual handling safely and consistently.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions clearly.
  • Willingness to work in outdoor and industrial environments in all weather conditions.
  • A flexible approach to working hours and travel across different ports.
