  • Induction Rate: £13.09/hr
  • Day Shift (0600-1400): £15.18/hr

Job Title: FLT Counterbalance Driver

Location: Middlesbrough

Stafforce is currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and safety-conscious team in Middlesbrough. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, good safety awareness, and a flexible attitude to working in a dynamic environment.

This role is based in a ports environment. It would suit someone with previous experience in similar settings; however, this is not essential for the right candidate with the relevant FLT experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate FLT Counterbalance trucks safely and effectively
  • Follow site safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards in assigned areas
  • Follow loading working lists accurately and efficiently
  • Support wider operational tasks as directed by supervisors

Requirements:

  • Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong focus on health and safety practices
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ports or logistics environment experience is desirable but not essential

Pay Rates:

  • Up to 8 hours: £13.45/hr
  • After 8 hours and Saturdays: £20.18/hr
  • All hours worked on Sundays and Bank Holidays: £26.90/hr
