Forklift Driver

Location: Gilberdyke
Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour

About the Role

Our client are looking for a reliable and hardworking Forklift driver that is confident to operate grabber attachment to join their team in Gilberdyke. This is a great opportunity to work with a well‑established food production company supplying fresh produce.

Working Hours

  • Standard shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm
  • Finish times may vary between 2:30pm - 5:00pm depending on workload

Key Responsibilities for forklift driver

  • Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move goods safely and efficiently
  • Handling materials using a grabber attachment (training provided if no prior experience)
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Moving stock to designated areas within the warehouse or production site
  • Ensuring all goods are stored correctly and safely
  • Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any faults
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements for forklift driver

  • Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
  • Previous warehouse or production experience (preferred)
  • Good attention to detail and strong safety awareness
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Please note: Experience using a grabber attachment is not essential, as full training will be provided.
