£13.50ph

Monday to Friday

Rotating shifts ( 7am-15.00PM/ Nights ) 8 hour Shifts

We have a great opportunity for an experienced forklift operative join a heavy industrial manufacturing team. This is an ongoing opportunity with a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

The Job Role

Working as a forklift operative within a small team to ensure manufacturing targets are met on a daily basis.

• Operating a B1 forklift counterbalance
• Operating hoppers and machinery
• Operating a scissor lift
• Ensuring product quality and taking our daily quality control tasks
• Working as part of a team

The Successful Forklift Operative

The successful forklift operative will be very health and safety conscious with a good understanding of manufacturing.

• Competent forklift operator with a minimum 2 years experience
• Previous experience within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment is highly desirable however other sectors will be considered e.g. warehousing, general manufacturing or agriculture
• Health and safety conscious at all times; good understanding of COSHH is highly desirable
• Flexible approach to work
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable e.g. Production Operative, Forklift Operative, General Operative, Warehouse Operative, Quality Control, Bagging operative, Heavy Industrial operative
• Team Player
