Job Details

We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Lincoln, for a Forklift Operator. You will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating a forklift to move materials around site.

Hours: Monday - Friday 12 hours per day, with Saturday work 6 hours per day

Pay rate: dependent on experience

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift
• Assist in organising and maintaining inventory in the warehouse
• Collaborate with team members to fulfil orders and meet deadlines
• Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movement
• Conduct basic equipment repairs as needed
• Support shipping and receiving processes as required

Skills:

• Proficient in basic math skills for inventory tracking
• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques
• Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
• Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures
• Understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
• Capability to perform equipment repairs when needed
• Experience in shipping and receiving processes

Requirements:

• Valid forklift operator certification/license, with 1+ years experience
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
