Garment Decoration Operator

Location: Dartford, Kent (DA1)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 per annum (DOE)

Stafforce are recruiting on behalf of a well established manufacturing business based in Dartford for an experienced Garment Decoration Operator to join their production team.

This is a hands on role focused on producing branded PPE and workwear, including high visibility clothing, garments, and safety equipment. You'll be working with heat press equipment, embroidery machines, and helmet graphics, so accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Reading and working from job sheets / work orders
• Collecting the correct garments and logos from stock locations
• Applying vinyl and transfers using heat press equipment
• Producing and applying helmet graphics / transfers
• Operating embroidery machines when required
• Preparing garments and ensuring accurate logo positioning
• Carrying out quality checks before dispatch
• Booking in deliveries and putting stock away correctly
• Supporting general production duties and housekeeping

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience with heat press or garment decoration preferred
• Experience operating embroidery machines advantageous
• Background in PPE, workwear, signage, print, or uniform production beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• Able to work in a fast‑paced production environment
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Basic IT skills (for job sheets and work orders)
