We are currently recruiting General Labourers for a busy manufacturing client based in Thornaby. This role supports the production process by assisting with the movement and preparation of component parts ready for assembly, production, or painting.

Main Duties

• Carrying out manual work to support the production process
• Moving and preparing component parts for the next stage of production
• Assisting departments including assembly, paint shop, and dispatch
• Following work instructions and prioritising workloads
• Using overhead pendant or remote-control cranes (experience preferred)
• General manual handling duties
• Maintaining high health & safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Good understanding of health & safety practices
• Ability to follow instructions and work to production targets
• Good manual handling ability and dexterity
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role preferred
