Goods In Operative

We are currently looking for a Goods In Operative to work in a busy, well established manufacturing company in the Cwmfelinfach area.

Duties Include:

Receive and unload incoming deliveries, ensuring all items match delivery notes and purchase orders.

Check goods for damage, discrepancies, or missing items, reporting any issues immediately.

Accurately record stock movements using warehouse management systems or manual records.

Label, sort, and store goods in the correct locations to maintain an organised warehouse.

Ensure stock rotation is followed

Assist in stock counts and reconciliation.

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment, following all health & safety procedures.

Operate handling equipment (forklifts, pallet trucks, scanners) where trained and authorised.

Work closely with colleagues in Goods Out, Production, and Purchasing to ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or goods-in role.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in checking deliveries.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good IT skills for data entry and stock recording.

Ability to lift and move items safely

Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licences-RTITB

Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude

Hours of Work

2 shift rotation of Days and Afternoons

Monday-Friday-6am-2pm/2pm-10pm.

You must be able to work both shift rotations

General Information

All shifts paid at £12.87

37.5 hours per week paid

Half an hour unpaid break

Driving is advantageous due to location
