(Metal Finishing / Grinding Operative)

📍 Billingham

We are recruiting Grinding Operatives to join a busy and well-established manufacturing environment in Billingham. Roles are available on rotating day/evening shifts or permanent night shifts, offering excellent opportunities for candidates with experience in metal finishing or grinding.

💷 Pay Rate

• £15.71 - £27.08 per hour

Shift Patterns Available

🔹 Rotating Day / Evening Shifts (Monday to Friday):

• 06:00 - 14:00
• 13:45 - 20:45

🔹 Permanent Night Shift (Monday to Thursday):

• 20:45 - 06:00

Duties Include

• Grinding and finishing metal components
• Deburring and polishing products
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Working to quality standards and production targets
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Grinding Operative, fettler, or metal finisher preferred
• Manufacturing or engineering experience
• Attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
