The Job Role:

To be responsible for developing, implementing and organising safety programs. To review and update institutional HSH policies and conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures.

Typical duties include:

  • Support the top management in HSE policy and guidelines issue
  • Take part in accident/ Incident Investigations
  • Carry out analysis of accident/incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans
  • Carry out any in house safety training
  • Perform Risk Assessments
  • Liaise between clients on safety related issues
  • Assist the commercial, engineering and operations department in their dealings with clients in all issues concerned with health and safety
  • Provide Technical support to senior management on any safety related subjects
  • Conduct safety audits both internal and external
  • Assist with field operations and carry out on site training and job management assistance
  • Meeting customers for work scope preparation

The Successful Candidate:

Must have proven experience in a similar role.

  • NEBOSH Certificate Min Requirement
  • ISO Auditing experience
  • Incident Investigation experience
  • Knowledge of UK HSE Legislation
  • Teacher /Training Experience
  • Able to form good relationships
  • Team working skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Effective organisational skills
