Class 2 Refuse Driver

FULL TIME & PART TIME AVAILABLE

Penrith - £15.85 per hour - 3:30am - 5:00am starts - Monday to Friday (Saturday working required following Bank Holidays) - Immediate Start Available

We're currently recruiting for a Class 2 Refuse Driver to join a busy waste collection team based in Penrith. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking driver looking for long-term, consistent work with an immediate start.

We are open to working with those who are looking for 2-3 days a week as well as full time work.

The Role

• Operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on designated routes
• Working alongside refuse loaders to complete daily collections
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with road safety regulations
• Providing a professional and efficient service to the local community
• Assisting with collections where required

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver regulations and road safety
• Physically fit and able to work in a demanding outdoor environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning starts
• Previous refuse or waste industry experience is desirable but not essential
