HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers wanted - Carlisle

Palletised Trunking Work | Curtainsider | Newly Qualified Welcome

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join our team based in Carlisle. This role involves palletised trunking work using a curtainsider vehicle, with some handballing required.

***IMMEDIATE START FOR ALL DRIVERS***

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Occasional weekend work available/overtime

Pay Rate

• £14.50 - £18.07 per hour (depending on shift/time)

Duties Include

• Trunking and palletised deliveries/collections
• Operating curtain-sided trailers
• Completing relevant paperwork and maintaining delivery accuracy
• Ensuring safe loading/unloading, including some handballing
• Vehicle checks and compliance with company and legal standards

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Newly qualified drivers welcome
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to complete manual handling tasks when required
