Position: HGV Technician

Location: Newport, Cwmbran, Cardiff

Industry: Transport

Salary: £38,000

Shift Pattern: Days / Morning shift / Afternoon shift on rotation

Duties:

• Experience in computer aided diagnostic is preferred but not essential
• Responsible for servicing, repairing and maintenance of commercial vehicles

Requirements:

• HGV technician level 3 qualifications or equivalent with proven HGV experience.
• Good diagnostic skills.
• Desire to undertake ongoing training.
• HGV class 1/2 driving licence desirable.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
• Experience in servicing and repairing commercial vehicles
• Certifications in vehicle maintenance and repair
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail

Working Hours:

8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday to start. Moving to rotating shifts Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm and 13.30pm to 22.00pm and alternate Saturdays paid at time and a half.
