Location: Lincoln/Retford
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Duties

  • Act as the first point of contact for all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) matters.
  • Conduct and review HSE assessments, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  • Maintain and support ISO 14001, ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001 and ISO 50001 management systems.
  • Assist with risk assessments, incident investigations, audits and inspections.
  • Promote a positive HSE culture through training, awareness campaigns and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all HSE incidents, reports and complaints are accurately recorded and investigated.
  • Liaise with site management and regulatory bodies regarding HSE compliance and best practices.
  • Coordinate and deliver inductions and HSE training across the site.
  • Support monthly HSE meetings and the implementation of Quality, Environmental and Ethical policies.
  • Undertake additional duties as required within the scope of the role.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards).
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001 management systems.
  • Food manufacturing experience desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proactive team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Flexible and adaptable to business needs.
