We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hygiene Operative on behalf of our well estbalished client in Market Rasen. This is a full time, temporary to permanent position.

The position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours with a half hour paid lunch break each day.

Working hours - 8am - 4pm

Responsibilities:

* On a rota basis with other employees, complete the tasks specified in the version of the Cleaning Schedule in place at any given time. The task list should then be signed to signify completion.

* Ensuring that all cleaning operations are completed in a SAFE manner adhering to the Berry principles at all times.

* Accurately completing documentation.

* Maintaining the stock of cleaning supplies.

* Issuing of returned clean garments into operators relevant lockers.

* Control of all chemicals in use during all cleaning operations.

* Securing all chemicals when not is use (all chemicals should be locked away and inaccessible by other staff members, when not in use).

* To stand in for the Office cleaner as and when required

* All employees are required to maintain safe working practices by adhering to the Health and Safety policies of the company in place at any given time.

Key skills and competencies:

  • The aptitude and willingness to undertake a physically demanding role.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with specified rotas.
  • Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner.
  • Ability to able to use own initiative but to seek support and guidance when necessary.
  • Ability to work as an effective and supportive team member.
  • Ability to take personal responsibility for standard of work carried out.
